How do I play Stack Surge?
Tap the stage, click your mouse, or press Space to drop the moving block onto the tower. Land it perfectly to keep your full width and chain a combo. Miss completely and the tower falls.
What is a "perfect" drop?
A drop within 3 pixels of the previous block's center counts as perfect. Perfect drops keep your block at full width and award 1 + your current combo points.
How does scoring work?
Every successful drop earns at least one point. Perfect drops add your combo on top, and every 10 points unlocks a tier bonus. Imperfect drops still score, but they reset your combo and shrink the next block.
Is my high score saved?
Yes. Your best score lives in your browser's local storage on this device — no account, no server. Clearing site data resets it.
Can I install it as an app?
Yes. On supported browsers an "Install app" button appears on the start screen. On iOS, use Safari's Share menu and choose "Add to Home Screen". Once installed, it runs offline.
Does it work offline?
Yes — once you've loaded the page online, a service worker caches the game shell so it runs without a connection. It is the same lean, install-free approach we take across the studio.
Which devices and browsers are supported?
Any modern browser that supports HTML5 canvas: recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari on desktop and mobile. There are no logins or accounts anywhere on the site.
