The short version: use the site and apps as intended, purchases go through Apple and Google under their rules, we don't promise perfection, and Louisiana law governs. The details follow. Effective July 16, 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and ANIMUM REGE LLC (doing business as Animum Rege Studio), a Louisiana limited liability company, USA. They cover this website (studio.animumrege.com) and our apps, unless an app ships its own terms — then those control for that app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our apps on devices you own or control, per the App Store and Google Play rules under which you got them. Don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer (except where the law says we can't stop you), or use the apps to break the law.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google, under their payment terms and refund policies. One-time unlocks are yours for the lifetime of the app on that store account. Subscriptions state their price and period before you buy and can be cancelled in your store account settings anytime.
Our operational SMS program (staff alerts from our toll-free numbers) has its own Mobile Messaging Terms of Service, incorporated here by reference.
The site and apps are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the same extent, ANIMUM REGE LLC's total liability for any claim arising from the site or an app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim (or $10 if you paid nothing). Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, or your non-waivable consumer rights.
We may update an app, retire a feature, or amend these terms; material changes get a note on this page with a new effective date, and continued use after that is acceptance. You can end the agreement anytime by deleting the apps.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules; exclusive venue is the state and federal courts covering Livingston Parish, Louisiana, except where your local consumer law gives you a different mandatory forum.
